Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Electrician specializing in Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems and solar energy installations. Must have experience in Tesla SuperChargers.
This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work on innovative renewable energy projects, including EV charging stations and solar power systems, across diverse construction sites. As a key member of our team, you will apply your electrical expertise to install, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Install, wire, and commission EV charging stations and solar power systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute electrical layouts on construction sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, power tools, and hand tools; perform repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Work safely at high voltage and low voltage environments while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as frame carpentry and renovation teams to coordinate installation activities.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems during installation phases to verify compliance with NEC standards and schematics.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks related to solar or EV infrastructure when applicable.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical projects.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a focus on electrical installations involving renewable energy or EV infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage systems.
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; familiarity with power tools and hand tools essential for installation tasks.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, or automation systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform renovation work, frame carpentry, handyman tasks, and construction-related activities as needed.
- Excellent safety awareness with experience adhering to OSHA standards during complex installations involving high voltage systems.

Pay: $29.10 - $35.05 per hour
