POSITION SUMMARY
Mayer Solar is seeking an experienced and licensed Master Electrician to serve in a critical in-office role supporting our growing solar installation operations. This is not a field installation position — you will be the primary electrical authority in our office, fielding technical questions from field crews, managing and mentoring a team of electricians, ensuring all jobs are properly tied out and closed, and upholding the highest standards of code compliance across every project. A strong background in solar photovoltaic systems — including battery storage and backup installations — is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review and approve wiring diagrams, single-line drawings, and system schematics submitted by field teams
- Coordinate with inspectors and utilities on technical electrical matters as needed
Team Management

- Verify that all permits, inspections, and final sign-offs are completed in accordance with applicable codes and company standards
- Review as-built documentation and confirm accuracy before project close
- Maintain detailed records of completed work, open permits, and outstanding inspections
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or deficiencies discovered during job reviews
