Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Journeyman in the service department and continue your career in the electrical industry! This position offers extensive experience working alongside skilled electricians responding to service calls and commercial remodels. You will increase your skills in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and safety protocols while contributing to exciting commercial and industrial developments. You will be involved in service and maintenance for some of the major facilities in the DFW area.
What you’ll do
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on service calls. Must have and maintain good driving record.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to run conduit, pull wire, and install electrical components according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution
- Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and ensure system integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Provide a clean and professional appearance and provide daily reports.
- Collaborate with team members on tasks related to electrical installations when necessary

- Prior experience or familiarity with commercial service electrician work is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems and high voltage safety protocols
- Experience with NEC guidelines for electrical installations is a plus
- Competence in using testing instruments like ohmmeters for troubleshooting
- Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of electrical infrastructure setup
