We are hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for commercial and industrial construction projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in active construction environments. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work efficiently with crews in the field.
This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, and electrical equipment in accordance with NEC standards and jobsite requirements
- Plan electrical layouts and complete installations safely and efficiently
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of electrical systems and components
- Inspect completed work to verify quality, safety, and code compliance
- Coordinate daily tasks with foremen and other trades on site
- Support and guide apprentice electricians when needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures at all times
- Complete required reports, documentation, and jobsite communication
- Respond to jobsite issues or safety concerns as they arise
- Assist with additional duties needed to support project completion
Qualifications
- Active Journeyman Electrician License (Texas or reciprocal state)
- At least 4 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or occasional travel when required
Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
