Are you an experienced construction Health & Safety professional ready to lead across live projects? Do you have strong knowledge of CDM 2015, RAMS and site compliance?
Ammcass CE Group is a growing Principal Contractor delivering construction and engineering projects across the UK.
The Role
We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop the company-wide H&S function across multiple live construction projects.
This is a senior role with real influence. You will manage safety strategy, site standards, fire safety, compliance systems and day-to-day operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Health & Safety across multiple construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation, including CDM 2015.
- Develop and maintain H&S policies and procedures.
- Lead on RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, site mobilisation and toolbox talks.
- Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Support Site Managers and operational teams with safe delivery.
- Manage incident investigations, reporting and H&S documentation.
- Oversee traffic management, logistics and emergency planning.
- Act as Fire Safety Lead, including fire risk assessments and hot works controls.
- Maintain the Operations Manual and compliance systems.

The Person
You will need:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction H&S legislation.
- Experience with a Principal Contractor.
- Proven experience managing H&S across live construction projects.
- Excellent understanding of CDM 2015, RAMS, CPPs, audits and compliance systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CMIOSH status, ISO 45001 experience, a Fire Safety qualification, or experience across commercial and residential projects would be useful.
