Architectural / Technical CAD Drafter - $50,000 – $58,000 annually, based on experience - Shelby, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The role
We are looking for an experienced Architectural / Technical CAD Drafter to support Architects with the preparation of clear, accurate Schematics and Construction Documents.
This role would suit someone who enjoys technical drafting, understands building code and how buildings come together, and can work with care and consistency. You will be involved in a wide range of projects, including healthcare, municipal, commercial, residential, renovation, add-alter and historic preservation work.
You will be joining a small, experienced team where your input will matter and where you can take real ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Produce detailed Architectural drawings to include Concept Drawings, Construction Documents, Life Safety Plans, and Specs
- Turn design intent into clear, buildable plans
- Apply building codes, standards and drafting processes
- Update drawings from redlines, consultant feedback and field input
- Keep project files organized
- Support Architects with accurate and timely project delivery

The person
You should have:
- At least 5 years’ Architectural CAD drafting experience
- Strong Construction Document and detailing experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Revit experience, which would be a plus
- Good attention to detail and a reliable approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
