Position Summary
We are building an elite traveling strike team, and we’re looking for a Licensed Electrician to join us. This role is for a skilled professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex electrical problems, and is willing to travel across multiple states to support our multi-family communities.
As part of the team, you will perform skilled electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work on urgent service calls, capital improvements, renovations, and preventative maintenance projects. Your expertise will ensure that every project meets the highest safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems: wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, panels, and control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using industry-standard testing equipment.
- Service and maintain electrical panels, sub-panels, transformers, and grounding/bonding systems.
- Support HVAC, plumbing, and building systems with electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the life of electrical systems and reduce downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of materials, labor, and project notes.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all state/local codes.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and site staff on large-scale electrical and renovation projects.
- Respond to emergency after-hours calls when required.
Qualifications
- Valid State Electrician’s License (multi-state licensing or ability to obtain preferred).
- Proven experience in multi-family, commercial, or large-scale electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel regularly and work independently or as part of a strike team.
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and workplace safety practices.
- Experience with HVAC/equipment electrical troubleshooting a plus.
