About the Position:
The Parts and Supplies Territory Manager for the Central Texas-Austin market plays a crucial role in driving sales, fostering client relationships, and expanding business opportunities within a specific geographic area. This role requires technical knowledge, sales skills, and interpersonal abilities to effectively serve clients' HVAC needs and contribute to the company's growth. They work with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) equipment distributors, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to promote and sell HVAC parts and supplies. The primary focus of an HVAC parts and supplies territory manager is to provide updates to these customers on product and price increases and training on product knowledge. The Parts and Supplies Territory Manager should work to obtain more business through the stockroom. : Essential Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development: Actively identify potential clients, distributors, and contractors within the assigned territory. Develop strategies to expand the customer base and increase HVAC parts and supplies sales.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Understand their needs and provide solutions to address their HVAC parts and supplies requirements. Making deliveries to customers when the circumstance arises.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the HVAC parts and supplies offered by the company. Communicate various product features, benefits, and applications to clients and prospects.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions within the HVAC industry. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Product Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients, distributors, and contractors. Showcase how specific HVAC parts and supplies can improve efficiency, performance, and overall project outcomes.
Quoting and Pricing: Provide accurate and competitive pricing quotes to clients for the HVAC parts and supplies they need. Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales deals. Quoting special bulk pricing.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as customer service, technical support, and logistics, to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates for management. This information helps track progress, identify improvement areas, and make informed business decisions.
Vendor Relations: Work with our vendors to set up in-store training and/or at the customer’s location. Examples of, Azure motors, IAQ (Reme Halo’s), Honeywell, Pro 1, Chemicals (NuCalgon), and Flex (JPL).
Run reports that will help identify customers who have fallen off in sales and/or identify items they may be buying from a competiton.
