Senior HVAC Technician (HVAC & Commercial Kitchen Equipment)
Company Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team, focusing on HVAC systems and commercial kitchen equipment. This is a traveling role, offering a company vehicle and the opportunity to impact multiple communities across our portfolio.
Position Overview:
The Senior HVAC Technician will be responsible for the repair, replacement, and maintenance of HVAC systems and commercial kitchen equipment across multiple Senior Living facilities. This role requires up to 100% travel throughout Texas and surrounding areas. You will be provided with a company van and tools necessary for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and replace HVAC systems, including but not limited to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, refrigerators, steam tables etc.).
- Coordinate with site-based maintenance staff and external vendors as necessary.
- Maintain documentation of repairs, replacements, and warranty info.
- Ensure compliance with state life safety and building regulations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Travel to communities within the portfolio to provide support as needed.
- Provide training to community maintenance teams on routine HVAC and kitchen equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Job requires being on call, for emergencies as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC and commercial kitchen equipment repair
- HVAC certification required.
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, including gas and electric systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 100%, including overnight stays as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
