Location: Gastonia, NC (Greater Charlotte area)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate estimates, material packages, and schedules for commercial re-roof and new roofing projects.
Review plans, specs, and scopes of work to develop detailed labor and material take-offs.
Analyze materials, labor rates, and timelines to produce competitive, high-quality proposals.
Track actual project costs versus bids to improve accuracy and profitability.
Conduct site visits as needed to gather information for repairs, re-roofs, and future projects.
Ensure estimates, quantities, and labor calculations are consistently accurate and reliable.

Qualifications & Requirements

4+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating, installation, or project coordination.
Extensive commercial roofing background OR extensive full-cycle construction estimating experience.
Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, architectural metal, coatings, etc.).
Proficiency with blueprint reading and On-Screen Takeoff (or similar digital takeoff tools).
Solid grasp of the competitive bid process and how estimating impacts operations.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills; able to handle multiple bids at once.
Comfortable with limited work at heights and occasional job site visits.

Work Location
In person, based in Gastonia, NC, with as-needed visits to commercial roofing project sites throughout the Greater Charlotte area.
