Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Journeyman Electrician and Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. We have opportunities available for both licensed journeymen and apprentices looking to gain hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
Journeyman Electrician:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Install panels, breakers, wiring, lighting, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
- Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements
- Supervise and mentor apprentices as needed
Apprentice Electrician:
- Assist journeyman electricians on our job site
- Pull wire, install boxes, and assist with rough-in and trim work
- Maintain tools and materials
- Follow safety procedures and job site protocols
- Learn electrical systems, codes, and best practices
Qualifications
Journeyman:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of Texas)
- 3+ years of electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes
- Ability to work independently
Apprentice:
- Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems preferred
- Willingness to learn and take direction
For All Candidates:
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
