Runner/Busser – Part-Time San Francisco, CA

McCall’s Catering and Events is looking for a Runner/Busser to join our San Francisco team. If you like fast-paced work, great food, and being part of a team that looks out for one another, we’d love to hear from you.
The role
As a Runner/Busser, you’ll be right at the heart of the action. You’ll help make sure guests are looked after, tables are ready, and food and drinks get where they need to go.
This is a part-time role with a rotating schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with friendly, professional service
- Prepare and reset tables before and after service
- Run food, water, beverages, and condiments to guests
- Clear plates, glasses, and utensils
- Refill beverages and assist with orders when needed
- Keep dining areas clean, tidy, and guest-ready
- Support café and restaurant colleagues during busy periods
- Follow food hygiene, health, and safety standards

The person
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy working in a lively, fast-paced environment
- Are friendly, reliable, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Can multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
- Are flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Can work across different McCall’s locations when needed
- Understand food hygiene and safety requirements
- Can lift 30 lbs. or more and stand for long periods
- Hold a valid ABC-RBS certification
- Hold a valid California Food Handler Card
- Previous café, restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is preferred.
