Hearts Heating And Air Conditioning, a Pinellas County-based HVAC company, is looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team!
We are looking to hire an experienced HVAC Service Technician with 2 or more years of verifiable field experience to join our team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be familiar with standard HVAC installation procedures, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service. Must be knowledgeable with Inverter Systems, Standard HVAC systems, Split Units, and RTU Units for up to 20tons. Must be able to pass a legal background check, a clean driving record, and a drug test.
HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Install and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes and RTU units for up to 20 tons.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with OSHA, local building codes and ordinances.
- Complete assigned projects on time.
- Work in various weather conditions and through extreme temperatures.
- Estimate costs of labor and materials associated with a job.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Properly complete all necessary written and electronic records for each job
- Maintenance and repair
- Troubleshooting
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
HVAC Service Technician requirements:
- 2-3 years field experience
- High school diploma / GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Honest and dependable
- Mechanically inclined
- Proficient in reading work plans
- Ability to occasionally work after hours, weekends, overtime and emergency holidays
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle
- Must be proficient in English – Speaking and reading
- EPA card required
