Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Licensed TDLR Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including both industrial and commercial experience. This role requires proficiency in various electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to safety standards on construction sites.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and high voltage systems as required.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using ohmmeters and other testing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to ensure electrical systems meet NEC standards.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed, including frame carpentry tasks related to electrical installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Valid TDLR Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license is required.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is essential.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and high voltage installations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
