Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent

We are hiring an experienced Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent to lead major treatment plant and municipal infrastructure projects throughout the region.
This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone with extensive water and wastewater treatment plant construction experience, strong electrical installation knowledge, and the ability to manage projects from estimating and bidding through completion.
A Master Electrician License is not required. However, candidates must have practical experience installing electrical systems and infrastructure within water or wastewater treatment plants.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily field operations on water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects
- Supervise crews, subcontractors, and jobsite activities from startup through completion
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, piping, and infrastructure scopes
- Support electrical installation involving pumps, motors, panels, controls, instrumentation, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution
- Manage projects valued at approximately $10M-$20M
- Support estimating, bidding, takeoffs, proposals, and project planning
- Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
- Work closely with owners, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and project managers
- Review blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Resolve field issues while maintaining productivity and project momentum
- Ensure projects remain safe, on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standards
- Lead safety meetings and maintain compliance with company and OSHA requirements
- Mentor field personnel and build accountable, high-performing teams
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of hands-on water or wastewater treatment plant construction experience
- 5+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience
- Proven experience leading treatment plant and municipal infrastructure projects
- Hands-on experience installing electrical systems within water or wastewater treatment plants
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, instrumentation, generators, and power distribution
- Experience with process piping, blowers, lift stations, underground utilities, and treatment equipment
- Experience managing projects in the $10M-$20M range
- Strong background in estimating, bidding, procurement, scheduling, and project planning
- Ability to read construction drawings, electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency with Excel and construction project management processes
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
