Tekk Force is seeking a skilled Commercial Service Journeyman Electrician for a very reputable electrical contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This role focuses on commercial service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and small project work across a variety of facilities. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and confident working independently in active commercial environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial electrical service, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and local electrical codes
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Texas)
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and service experience
- Knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls
- Experience with conduit bending and electrical terminations
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

- Lighting systems, panels, transformers, and motors
- Boom lift or scissor lift experience
